Appointment Policies


We are located in Baltimore, MD (Downtown). A confirmation email will be sent after paying your deposit, which will include the address. Travel options are available.

Natural Hair

You are encouraged to wash and blow dry your natural hair. We ask that you not apply any oils or products to your hair (if you have special circumstances such as medical conditions that require you to apply special products to your hair- bring them to the appointments and apply them after your braids have been completed). Please come with your natural hair clean, completely dry, and accessible. This means free of braids, plaits, etc.


Each service has a breakdown of the deposit and balance due listed. Balances must be paid in CASH. Deposits are non-refundable. They may be transferred ONCE if the appointment is cancelled 72 hours before the service. If for some reason, you are given an appointment without a deposit, there will be a $50 fee accessed for each appointment that is not kept. This fee must be paid before future bookings can take place.


 Due to limited spacing and our intimate setting, extra guests are unable to accompany you while being serviced. If guests are present during the service, there will be a $50 fee added to your service.

Release of Liability

We take pride in providing safe, long-lasting installations. We use a combination of techniques that cater to your lifestyle. We provide educational instructions on maintaining a lace wig. The ingredients listed our lace glue products are available (upon request). All installations require you to sign a waiver of liability. In signing a waiver, you acknowledge that you have no known allergies to the ingredients used. You also acknowledge that in the event of an allergic reaction, Gravity accept no responsibility for these types of occurrences. We recommend our Signature Glue-less Install for those that have sensitive skin.

When booking an appointment please provide your full name, along with an accurate email address and phone number. Appointments that are booked with unverifiable information are subject to be cancelled (no refunds will be given).

No-Call No-Shows

We have a zero tolerance for no-call no-shows. These clients will be banned from future booking.

Late Arrivals

Each appointment includes a 15- minute  grace period. After the first 15 minutes, a $25 late fee will be added. After 30 minutes, the appointment will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. Clients with excessive late arrivals may be banned from future booking.

Time Allotment

Our goal is to provide you with a quality, long-lasting installation. We realize that this service is an investment and we want to provide you with our best work. We want to provide you with the highest quality foundation, and install. This may require unforeseen time. We strive to complete our installs in a timely manner. Please plan to spend up to 4 hours with us on the date of your appointment.


We take pride in showcasing our work. Pictures will be taken. If you wear makeup, please apply it for the pictures.
